Spoilage is an addictive game with chess-like strategy components and checkers-like moves. A single game can be played in just minutes so you never need a large time commitment. Multiple levels of difficulty, different boards and randomly generated layouts provide for hours of entertainment.
You assume the role of a bacteria colony battling for resources. You can replicate yourself, but not move far, or travel a greater distance while leaving precious spaces susceptible to invasion by other colonies. Attacking the enemy colony gains you resources and your population immediately expands. But as your colony grows it becomes increasingly susceptible to exploitation by your competitor. Do you have what it takes to masterfully command a bacteria colony and take over the ooze world?

Fast-paced, addictive, strategy game. I would put it in the same category as Tetris. Good way to keep yourself entertained while waiting somewhere, and as an added bonus, people around you would wonder what the strange squishy noises were.

I like this game. The "spoilage" theme separates this from the typical checkered board layouts. Everything looks great. Simple interface but challenging gameplay. Would like to see a couple things added such as a stats page, a restart option... And maybe a way to end the auto fill when you or the AI wins early in the game. Squish squish squish squish ... Sometimes it feels like it takes forever. Other than that, this game is fun, challenging and easy on the eyes. Easy recommendation.
This game is super fun. Squishy sounds and the helper grid are a nice touch. I like that I can play for as little or as long as I want. The poison was cool.
